SEPTEMBER 22, 2000

 

Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (CDNX: GOG) announces that it has signed an amendment to an agreement  between the Company and  Rubicon Minerals Corporation (CDNX: RMX) dated December 15, 1997, in which Rubicon can earn a 50% interest in the Company’s McGuaig property in Red Lake, Ontario.   The amendment grants Rubicon an extension of four months from the original agreement date of  December 15, 2000,  to April 15, 2001 to complete  $200,000 of exploration work on the property. The Company has granted this extension of time to Rubicon on the condition that Rubicon expend the majority of the exploration amount on a diamond drilling program on the property. All other clauses in the original agreement remain unchanged.
