Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (the "Company"), announces that the Company has been advised by The Northern Miner newspaper that they have made an error in the information related to the Company's acquisition of claims in the Lac Volant, Sept Iles area, Quebec, which appeared in their latest edition dated October 21, 1996. The assay results quoted are in fact those obtained by the Quebec Government on their Lac Volant discovery. The Northern Miner has advised that they will issue a clarification in their next edition.
The Vancouver Stock Exchange has neither approved nor disapproved the content of this release.
