Montreal, Quebec -Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:GOG) is pleased to announce the commencement of a first phase exploration program on the Aquilon Property in James Bay, Quebec. The program consists of stripping the Red Toad showing where two previous grab samples taken returned assays of 1691 g/t Au and 153 g/t Au (see Golden Tag’s news release of July 31, 2004 for additional information) . This work will be followed by a planned minimum 700 meter diamond drilling program to test the Red Toad zone extension along strike and to shallow depth, combined with a drill hole to test for vein-type mineralization at the southern tonalite contact under the adjacent lake.
