GOLDEN TAG ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF DRILL PROGRAM ON AQUILON MAIN GOLD PROPERTY, JAMES BAY, QUEBEC
Montreal, Quebec -Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:GOG) is pleased to announce that a 1060 metre diamond drill program is planned to commence on or around March 21, 2008 on the Aquilon Main Gold Property in James Bay, Quebec where the Company is earning a 60% interest (see Golden Tag’s news release of November 20, 2003). The diamond drill program, which is planned to be completed in early April, 2008, will focus on the Lingo West high grade gold occurrence and will consist of 45, shortly spaced, vertical drill holes to better define laterally and at depth the extension of the mineralization. This program is a follow-up to the diamond drill program conducted in 2002 by Sirios Inc. and SOQUEM Inc. in the area of this gold occurrence. Results indicated that ten of the thirteen short, vertical drill holes returned values up to 77.81 g/t Au over 1.0 m (Sirios, press release November 14, 2002).
